Founded in 1987, they are the world’s largest provider of donated medical equipment and supplies for developing countries. Six large distribution facilities in or near Chicago, Denver, Houston, Nashville, Philadelphia, and Phoenix (plus ten smaller satellite facilities) receive goods for distribution in over 135 countries.

In 2015 they delivered 139 40-foot containers carrying $57,300,000 in medical supplies and equipment to 53 countries. Besides bulk shipments valued at over $440,000 each, they provide “C.U.R.E. Kits” containing over $2,000 worth of medical goods. For a $200 handling fee, the special kits are packaged in boxes that can be checked as luggage on overseas mission trip flights). PROJECT C.U.R.E. also runs short-term clinical medical mission programs in locations around the world and has special programs to help new mothers and their babies. To learn more about all of their programs, visit their website. The section of it called project.C.U.R.E. “programs” includes a list of the kinds of medical goods they wish to receive.
