Their goal is to deliver a new heavy duty wheelchair to every child, teen, and adult who needs one but cannot afford it. Founded in June 2000, they have delivered or committed 1,175,000 wheelchairs to people in 152 countries so far. A $150.00 donation will sponsor, ship, and deliver a wheelchair. If you are interested in a specific country and/or wish to participate in a distribution trip, you can consider sponsoring an entire container of 100 to 280 wheelchairs. Some Rotary International clubs help support them.
