This Christian group (formerly called Northwest Medical Teams) deploys over 120 medical, dental, and work teams throughout the world annually. In 2016, they helped 2.9 million people in 27 countries. A major emphasis is serving in disaster areas. Since 1986, they have shipped over 1.5 billion dollars worth of medical supplies and food to over 100 recipient nations. Along with their headquartered in Portland, OR, they have offices in Washington, DC, seven states and five countries. They belong to PQMD (Partnership for Quality Medical Donations).
