This Christian group is in 41 countries, does disaster relief all over the world, and is very involved in the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier. Weighing 20 pounds (27 with case and extra parts) and fitting in a briefcase-sized package, it can produce between 20 and 25 gallons of pure water every hour. That can be enough drinking water for 500 people per day. It consumes 54 watts and can be powered from either a direct electrical feed, a 12 volt motorcycle battery, a car battery, or by solar power.
