Since 1970, FAME has sought to “send help and hope in the name of Jesus Christ to the world through medical evangelism.” They support sustainable healthcare projects with their partners in over 30 developing countries. This includes sending a wide variety of medical equipment and supplies in large containers, assembling “Cardboard Pharmacies” of medicines for overseas use, having a data-based computerized inventory of current stock, and mobilizing short-term teams to work alongside missionaries and indigenous churches. FAME has a scholarship program for overseas nationals studying to become medical professionals. They are a TECH member.
