They save lives globally by providing cardiovascular implantable devices and treatment to the needy people of the world. Their Pacemaker Program provides the medical pacing devices, implantation, and lifelong follow-up care for the devices at no cost to their patients. Thus far, they have served in 20 developing countries and have helped save over 16,000 lives.
Their unique partnerships with medical manufacturers allows them to accept and receive the donation of new state of the art pacemakers and other cardiac devices.
This is not to be confused with programs in other organizations whereby used pacemakers can be sterilized and reused.
