The letters “HERO” stand for Healthcare Equipment Recycling Organization. Since they began in 1996, HERO has helped to provide medical products (other than pharmaceuticals) in over 140 countries. They help supply medical mission teams going to developing countries. Their website shows what they want and don’t want. Most of their goods are received from North Dakota and Minnesota. They also have a branch in nearby Morehead, MN.
