This Christian ministry has sent over 139,000 refurbished wheelchairs (mostly in 40-foot containers) to 109 countries (as of March, 2021). Special efforts are made to see that each wheelchair is fitted specifically for each individual’s needs. See their website for the Locations link to find over 40 location sites in the U.S. and Canada that collect equipment which will be refurbished to nearly new condition. All the wheelchairs are sent overseas to the poorest of the poor in developing countries where they are given away free to the end recipient. Hope Haven is a TECH member.
