Since 1997, this Christian organization has been helping men and women in the developing world get out of poverty and be transformed spiritually through discipleship, business training, a safe place to save, and small loans. Currently they are in 16 countries. As their microfinance institutions become sustainable, a portion of their profits support Christ-centered children’s ministries. HOPE’s very informative website shows several ways to help, and they have short-term vision trips to some of the places where they serve.
In 2016, they facilitated the publication of a book called Created to Flourish: How Employment-Based Solutions Help Eradicate Poverty. Its 223 pages can be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from their website and is very useful reading.
