They support Christian groups going on overseas mission trips by lending a special kit of optometric supplies worth over $13,500 in exchange for a refundable deposit. Since 1999, they have helped 1,397 teams in 78 countries. Details about that and optometric equipment (especially training and specialized ophthalmic software) are on their website. The software runs on both windows and mac computers. They also provide used measured and barcoded eyeglasses.
