Founded in 2007, they are currently serving in 77 countries by teaching improved ways of water treatment and have helped more than fifty-eight million people. They do wells, rainwater catchment, water filtration, and other direct intervention, as well as teaching people to solve their clean water and hygiene needs. They have a close relationship with the Peace Corps and Return Peace Corps Volunteers. As of 2019, they are spearheading border-to-border efforts to make sure that the entire countries of Togo and The Gambia have access to clean, safe water. They are in 82 countries.
