This non-profit organization seeks to “increase economic opportunity, sustain natural resources, and protect the environment” in over 60 countries. Major areas of emphasis include agriculture and rural development; clean energy; economic sustainability; forests and natural resources management; gender equality and human rights; leadership; water; and youth and education. They have a strong program to facilitate volunteer service in many places.
