The motto of this Christian organization is “delivering food, shelter, and hope in the name of Jesus.” They began in 2001 and currently have have 46 projects with 30 partners in 14 countries. Their projects include relief for disaster victims, education, medicines and medical care, clean water, micro-enterprise, and other ways of helping end long-term poverty. Cross International locates needy church-based ministries and other faith-based organizations serving the poor and distributes material through their existing programs. Their website has many very compelling stories from various sources about critical needs all over the world. They also arrange short-term mission trips.
