EMAS (Education, Medical, and Service) Canada is a Christian, interdenominational, charitable, non-governmental organization. It is based in Canada and Hong Kong and partners with organizations overseas in healthcare initiatives. Founded in 1948, they partner with Christian organizations in 13 countries. Every year they organize short-term medical mission trips, as well as having other health-related projects — including feeding centers, clean water, and assistance with existing clinics. They sent 339 volunteers on overseas short-term mission trips in 2016. More details are on their website.
