In addition to their own missions in over 15 countries, this Christian organization has a special training program to help prepare people who will be serving in many locations and various fields throughout the developing world. Over 5,000 people from over 1,375 groups have participated. Training includes courses in missionary medicine, community health, basic dentistry, food production, construction, and water and well drilling technologies. One of their more innovative programs is the “Equip Dome.” It is built of concrete in several sizes to provide housing, places of worship, and food storage. These are hurricane proof, tornado proof, and fire proof. There is a course for building them. Their website describes these courses and other ways that Equip serves.
Their website notes that as of August, 2020, they have trained more than 4,800 missionaries from 1,300 mission agencies and impacted 169 locations worldwide.
