Originally called Medical Benevolence Foundation, they been working since 1963 to equip Presbyterian partner churches in developing counties through medical ministry. They help over 100 hospitals and clinics in over 20 countries. This includes funding for medical care, obtaining medical supplies to send in large cargo containers, and community development.
Their website shows several ways to help, such as alternative gifts. These include anti-malaria bed nets, nursing scholarships, vaccinations, and helping purchase or ship medical supplies. MBF also procures and oversees grants for construction projects, as well as hosting medical mission trips to several countries. They are a TECH member.
