MESA means Medical Equipment & Supplies Abroad. This is a project of Rotary clubs in District 6600 (northwestern Ohio). Since 1982, MESA has shipped an average of twelve 40-foot containers of medical supplies each year to Central America, Africa, and Europe (with the biggest emphasis in Central America). It has also shipped over 20 emergency vehicles. MESA coordinates their activities with Rotary clubs in receiving countries.
They get donated goods mostly from hospitals and other medical institutions in Ohio but are glad to receive them from other places. MESA has a warehouse in Fosteria, OH.
