Founded in 1967 by a pastor who had been imprisoned because of his Christian beliefs, VOM’s mission statement is: “Serving persecuted Christians through practical and spiritual assistance and leading other members of the Body of Christ into fellowship with them.” Currently they are serving in 68 countries. Some of their activities include delivering Bibles to pastors and other people who otherwise would not have them. One big emphasis is Bibles for children. See www.vombibles.com for details.
